Eugene Richard Pittson Sr.

Eugene was born on August 15, 1941 in Seattle, Washington, a son of Albert Benedict and Hazel Rebecca (Watson) Pittson.

He is survived by 2 sons- Eugene R. Jr and Christopher V. Pittson

2 Daughters- Jacqueline A. Murdock and Heidi L. Pittson

3 Grandsons- Ethan C. Pittson, C. Kohl Pittson and, Skyler L. Pittson

1 Granddaughter: Brooke E. Pittson

He married Susan Lee Harper on September 9, 1961 in Seattle, Washington. She survives in Plano.

He graduated from the University of Washington with his Bachelors, and University of Southern California with his masters.

Gene served our country as a Major in the U.S. Army serving in Germany, Vietnam, Norway, Korea, and the U.S.A.

He was a Member of Lord of Life Lutheran Church of Plano.

A funeral service and celebration of life for Gene will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at 10:30 AM at the Lord of Life Lutheran Church located at 3601 W 15 th Street, Plano, Texas 75075.

A visitation will be held the evening prior: Friday, August 15, 2014 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM also at the church.

A committal service will be held on Monday, August 18, 2014 at 10:00 AM at the Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery with full military honor accorded.
