James Wilson Norris, age 80, passed away on December 4, 2010 in Mesquite, TX. He was born on March 5, 1930 in Richardson, TX. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Mary Norris; sons, Ronnie and Donnie Norris; daughter, Shirley Hawley and husband Ron; grandchildren, Tina Griffin and husband Paul, Donnie Norris and wife Christy; Mary Anderson and husband Brandon, Michelle Baggett and husband Jeff, Ryan Norris and wife Melissa, Eric Norris, Mark Connelly, Lawrence Connelly and wife Michelle, Bud Connelly and Sara Kennedy, Ronnie Norris, Hollie Samples and husband Greg, Christopher Norris; and 27 great-grandchildren. James retired from General Motors after 30 years of service. He dedicated his life to being the best husband to the love of his life, Mary and was a wonderful daddy to his children. James will be dearly missed by his family. Visitation will be held at Ted Dickey Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 8, 2010 from 6:00-8:00 pm. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, December 9, 2010.
