John Francis “Frank” Ault passed away March 24th, 2019, in Plano, Texas at age 63. He endured a four-year battle with cancer and faced every health challenge that came his way with dignity and grace. Frank was born April 23rd, 1955 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Ed and Alice (Devlin) Ault. He moved to Omaha, Nebraska in 1975 and met his future wife Jane while working in the camera department at Skaggs Drug Center at 29th and St. Mary. The two married on June 22nd, 1979 in Omaha. Frank graduated from the University of Nebraska-Omaha in 1982, with a Bachelor of Science in Education. He then taught English for Kansas City, MO Public Schools and Boystown’s Fr. Flanagan High School in Omaha. Frank began working for IBM in 1994, and would have celebrated his 25th year with the company this fall. Frank was an avid runner and was passionate about physical fitness. He loved books and literature of many genres and was not one to ever shy away from a good debate.
Frank is preceded in death by his parents and his sister Ali Campbell. He is survived by his wife, Jane of Plano, son, Nathan of Dallas, TX, daughter, Celia of McKinney, TX, and daughter Emily (Derek Leas) of Omaha, brother Joe (Helene) Ault of Chalfont, PA, and sister Annamarie (Rich) Miller of Delran, NJ, numerous nieces and nephews, friends, and colleagues.
