well I didn't know Joe well but the little I did know of him was every time I saw him he had the biggest smile on his face and no matter how long or how short it would take to see this man he always seemed happy and with that big smile and he truly was blessed to have such a beautiful wonderful brothers and sisters and especially my aunt and uncle and especially when he still made his way to see the family no matter how sick he was he made his way to Fredericksburg Texas to the Borjas family reunion On June 27th 2013  I will surely miss this man love from  Eli Borjas Cedillo

I miss you so much! But,the one true peace that I find ,is that you are in HEAVEN,living with our dearly departed brother Cesario B.Figueroa,and our God given parents,Salvador G.Figueroa and Eustolia B.Figueroa.I am so blessed to have had you as my brother! I remember many times when mom and dad would take me to visit our relatives or they would come to visit,The Tia's would be so happy to see mom and dad and the familia. They would hug me and then ask mom quietly, looking around and saying " Y Jose'? " Be ready! I know our relatives will ask Jesus to see you! Love ya! Florita

Joe was the first operator for T&R.  Right away  I knew joe was a keeper.  Later as a supervisor, he was a person of good work ethics  and accountability.  I will remember this man as one of the good guys. Respectfully.   Robert Moore

The way I remember you most is in your Moms kitchen drinking coffee with your Mom & Dad. I remember being there and watching your Moms face light up as soon as she heard or saw your truck pull up. Didn't matter how early or how late you came she was always happy to see you. So now she is happy again to be sitting with you, your Dad and Chio drinking coffee and telling stories. As we will all miss you I know we will one day sit at that table and drink coffee and exchange old and new stories together.

Joe a quite and humble man. I was just a sister in law but I will always remember you in your Moms kitchen with a cup of coffee in your hand. And how excited your Mom got when she would get when your truck would pull up, not matter how early or how late you came. Well now you are once again with your Mom, Dad and Chio all standing there waiting to have that cup of coffee with you.

JOE, MY BROTHER MY WORLD FEELS SO EMPTY WITHOUT YOUR LAUGHTER,AND YOUR PRESENCE. I REALLY DO MISS YOU. I KNOW IF THERES ANY MANSIONS IN HEAVEN THAT NEED TO BE BUILT;YOU WILL VOLUNTEER TO HELP GOD WITH THAT KIND OF  WORK. I REMEMBER YOU TURNING A LOT OF THE FAMILY CARS INTO SPORT CARS, AND SOME INTO HOT RODS,  YOU WERE A GREAT MECHANIC. I remember Joe in so many thoughtful and kind ways. I recall one  story my mom and dad told me, was when Joe as a child, would deliver notes that my mom would write to my dad. Joe would take the note and run thru the cotton fields and deliver them to my dad. This went on while my parents were dating.  Both my parents thought so much of Joe as I did too.  I recall going to my Tia's Estolia home in Plano to visit, my Tia and Tio. Tia would call all my primos to come visit...and it seemed that Joe was always the first one to stop in and say Hi, offer to take me to eat or just sit back to chat with me about back in the day...He will be missed by many. I can see them all,  my folks his folks and his brother enjoying the beauty of God's grace...Rest in peace. Love you Primo...
