Jo Gale, a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and woman of faith, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family. Her greatest comfort and joy in life was her unwavering faith in her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She often spoke of how she could not wait to go home to be with Him. While her family grieves her absence, they find deep peace and joy knowing she has finally made it home.
Jo was born in Los Angeles, California, and later made her home in La Palma, California, where she raised her family and created many cherished memories. In later years she moved to Riverside County, where she embraced country living and pursued one of her passions—raising, breeding, and showing Tennessee Walking Horses. Horses and animals of sorts held a special place in her heart, and caring for them brought her great happiness throughout her life.
In November 2022, Jo moved to Texas to be closer to her daughter during her later years.
Jo was also a talented and dedicated seamstress. In the 1960s and 1970s she lovingly sewed clothing and costumes for her family, and in the 1980s through the early 2000s she created beautiful custom draperies and valances.
Above all else, Jo treasured her family. She is survived by her three children: Cindy, David, and Sandy. She could not wait to be a "Grandma" and was a proud grandmother to eight grandchildren: Nicole, Jennifer, Sarah, Davey, Alex, Joey, Stephanie, and Danny.
She was also blessed with six great-grandchildren—Brayden, Skyler, Natalie, Brielle, Kayden, and Hayley—who lovingly called her “G.G.” and brought her tremendous joy.
Jo will be remembered for her deep faith, her love for her family, and her kindness toward animals. Though she will be deeply missed, her family rejoices in knowing she is now home with the Lord she loved so dearly.
