Louis Edward Glover, age 79 of Plano, Texas, passed away on Monday afternoon, June 22, 2015 at his residence. Louis was born on February 25, 1936 in Arlington, Texas, a son of Joseph and Pearl (O'Brien) Glover. His wife of 50 years, Audrey Dean Glover, preceded him in death.
He is survived by three children: Shanda Chow of Plano, Stacey Glover of Plano, and Brian Glover of Allen, and five grandchildren: Alyssa and Nick Chow, Erica and Kyle Minter, and Wesley Glover. He also leaves behind two brothers, Joe Glover of Thousand Oaks, California, and Curtis Glover of Dallas.
Louis retired from Region 10 Education Service Center as Director of Special Education in 1996. Since his retirement, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends at his home on Lake Whitney, boating, fishing, and hunting.
A private memorial service will be held at Lake Whitney. Donations can be made in his honor to the American Cancer Society.
