

Lunn Wilson Mabry, age 73, of Plano Texas, passed away on Sunday, December 9, 2012, at UT Southwestern University Hospital - St. Paul in Dallas, Texas. Lunn was born March 3, 1939, in Houston, Texas, to Gayle Mabry and Ruby (Wilson) Mabry. He married Kay Faass on October 7, 1965, in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida.
Lunn was a retired Master Sergeant in the US Air Force and did two tours in Vietnam. He also worked for the US Post Office for twenty years and at Bass Pro Shop in Garland, Texas as a greeter for five years.
Lunn enjoyed fly fishing, hunting, shooting black powder rifles, and 18th century reenacting. He was also a long time member of the Dallas Muzzle Loading Gun Club.
He is survived by his wife, Kay of Plano, Texas; daughter Kathy and son-in-law Tim Love of McKinney, Texas; sons, David Mabry and Daniel Mabry, of Plano, Texas; grandchildren, Logan Mabry, Skylar Hines Mabry, and Brennon Flener Mabry; Sisters, Bonnie Morton and brother-in-law Butch Morton of Bogalusa, Louisiana, and Marcia Smith, of Bryan, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A funeral service will be held at 11:30 AM, Monday, December 17, 2012, at Ted Dickey Funeral Home in Plano, Texas. Interment will follow at the Dallas-Ft. Worth National Cemetery in Dallas, Texas. The family will receive friends during visitation from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 PM Sunday evening at the funeral home.
