Mary Eddie Maxwell, aged 87, passed away on January 22, 2012 in Dallas, Texas. Mrs. Maxwell was born on June 12, 1924 in Walton County, Georgia, one of two daughters of Ralph and Essie Smith. After high school, she attended secretarial school and worked as an executive secretary at Ohio Match Company until becoming a full-time homemaker. Mrs. Maxwell is pre-deceased by her husband of 49 years, John Maxwell and sister, Mildred Malcom. She is survived by three children: Emily Maxwell of Chapel Hill, North Carolina; John Maxwell of Germantown, Maryland; Lynn Robertson and her husband, Ronald, of Farmers Branch, Texas; grandchildren: Katie, John and Max Robertson of Farmers Branch, Texas; and niece Lenea Masters of Loganville, Georgia. The family would like to thank the Bentley Manor staff for all of the help they have provided to our mother over the years.
