She was born on July 1, 1952, in East St. Louis, IL, to Marian F. Harris (nee McIntosh) and Max C. Harris. She grew up in Mt. Vernon, IL, where she graduated from Mt. Vernon Township High School. It was then that she began a 30+ year career at AT&T in St. Louis, which eventually brought her to San Antonio, TX, and later to Dallas, where she retired as an Administrative Assistant.
Her time here on earth was marked by love, compassion, and unwavering faith in God. She lived her life as a devoted Christian and found peace and joy in spreading God’s Word. Her passing has left a void in the lives of those she touched, and she will be deeply missed by all.
Pat had a lifelong passion for the Dog Show World! Her love for dogs led her to establish PAH Print Westies, where she raised, bred, and showed her beloved West Highland White Terriers—earning numerous championships along the way. She was an active member of several organizations that supported her passion, including the Trinity Valley West Highland White Terrier Club, the West Highland White Terrier Club of America, and the Trinity Valley Terrier Club.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and is survived by her close family, friends, and the Westies she loved and adored.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Ted Dickey Funeral Home, 2128 18th St., Plano, TX 75074.
