Patricia G Semple

Born on August 13, 1935, to Chester Earl Gaines and Winnell Gaines (Hudson), Patricia was known for her kind-hearted and faithful nature.

Patricia graduated from Midland High School and was a devoted member of Bellview Baptist Church. In 1951, she married Harold H. Semple, with whom she shared a life until his passing in 1999. Patricia is survived by her three children: Harold Semple Jr. and his wife Oralia of Pilot Point, Texas; Ann Hartline and her husband Ray of Lake Tawakoni, Texas; and Cheryl Rice of Dallas. She also leaves behind three grandchildren: Patrick Semple of Frost, Texas; Sarah Young and her spouse Michael of Denton, Texas; and Kelli McCarthy and her spouse Matt of Dallas, Texas, along with six great-grandchildren.

Patricia had a long and fulfilling career, serving as an office manager for an employment agency in Midland and as a packaging manager for C.A. & L Pecan Company. She was also a buyer for the Midland Memorial Hospital gift shop. In her later years, Patricia resided at Belmont Village of Turtle Creek in Dallas, where she was an active member, serving as a resident ambassador and participating on the movie committee.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at 11 AM at Ellis Resthaven Memorial Park, 4616 N Big Spring St, Midland, TX 79705, to honor Patricia's life and legacy.
