Robert Hinton, 57, of Wylie, Texas, passed away on May 25, 2025. He was born in Dallas, TX on July 31, 1967. Robert graduated from Eisenhower High School. He married Tammi Hinton on June 8, 1993. Robert had a extensive career in the food service industry that spanned over 40 years. Over time he spent 12 years at Steak and Ale, 9 years at On the Border, and 19 years at Texas Roadhouse.
Throughout his life Robert had a passion for cruises, concerts, and casinos. He also loved college sports. He is survived by his wife Tammi Hinton, children Danielle Small, Brandon Jones, "Little Robert" Hinton, and Kaylee Hernandez. He leaves his grandchildren Kristopher, Joshua, Samantha, Augie, Adi, Calvin, Maggie, Martha, Grady, Oakley, and Tommy to continue his legacy. He is also survived by his Mother Valerie Hinton and his sister Robin Hinton Hopkins.
Arrangements are being handled by Ted Dickey Funeral Home of Plano, TX. A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 30, 2025 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home.
