Arturo Gutierrez-Hernandez

He was born on July 13, 1935 in Matamoros Tamaulipas, Mexico to Albino and Paula Galvan Gutierrez.

Beginning at age 12, Arturo was a self taught accordion, violin and bajo sexto bass player.

Mr. Gutierrez-Hernandez is survived by his loving wife of 68 years Juanita,

Siblings Dolores Carranza, Erasmo Gutierrez, Guadalupe Gutierrez and Elijia Contreras.

His children Mario Gutierrez, Arturo Gutierrez, Rosa Maria Gutierrez, Abelardo Gutierrez, Hector Gutierrez, Elia Zurita, Andres (Dora) Gutierrez, Jesus (Lilliana) Gutierrez, Maribel (Roland) Jackson and Erica (Oscar) Vidal.

He was blessed with many grandchildren; Tristan, Xenia, Viviana, Emma Lee, Maria Guadalupe, Christian Arturo, Jorge Alberto, Uriel, Marco Antonio, David, Cynthia, Nadia Leigh, Elba Yaneth, Rolando, Emely Ann, Eneyda Alee, Marissa, Giselle, Bianca Celeste, Izaac, Jessica, Alex, Nestor, Alexander, Emmanuel, Eli Gael, Raul, Israel and Ivan.

Arturo is also survived by 35 great grandchildren, ll great, great grandchildren and many more friends and family members.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
