

He had served in the U S Navy during WW II spending some time on the antisubmarine carrier, Tarawa. He also served on a supply ship sailing to Antwerp, Belgium where to pick up German POW’s.
Erwin was in the plumbing and heating construction trade in North Jersey for many years. He was an actively involved family man who took his family on camping or beach trips every summer without fail.
He retired in 1989 to Spring Hill, FL with his wife, Lillian Seuss Winters (Deceased). He stayed active well into his 90’s with roller skating, sea kayaking, biking and RV road trips with his special lady friend, Pat Peery. He made friends easily with his ready smile and caring nature. He will long be remembered as a man of faith who demonstrated what it meant to walk with the Lord Jesus.
He is survived by his daughters, Susan Craddock and Christine Hollars, by his son, Timothy Winters, by his grandson, Jeffrey Craddock, and by 3 great grandsons, Tyler Craddock, Bryce Craddock, and Liam Craddock.
