SHAW, Col. Jack Brisley, age 91, of Plant City, FL passed away on November 12, 2017. Jack was born on February 23, 1926 in Vancouver, Canada. Col. Shaw was in WWII and Korea in the Merchant Marines and in Vietnam in the Air Force. He was a pilot and also worked at the Pentagon for the Department of Defense and the Department of History. He was a graduate of University of Chicago Booth School of Business where he received his MBA.
Jack was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Jane Shaw and his daughter, Caren Faye Shaw. Family who survive are his son, Brian Lee Shaw (Ellie); his daughter, Susin April Tippie (Butch); two grandchildren, Jason Shaw Tippie, Stephen Patrick Tippie; and two great grandchildren, Nikolas Edward Shaw Tippie and Evelina River Shaw Tippie.
Col. Shaw will receive military honors at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery.
