Margaret Sowizdrzal

SOWIZDRZAL, Margaret, age 86, of Plant City, FL passed away on February 14, 2018. Margaret was born on July 23, 1931 in Mineola, NY to James and Margaret (Ryan) McAuliff. She was a Corporal in the United States Army where she learned accounting. She worked for H&R Block as an accountant for many years. Margaret was also the President of the Rotterdam Boys Club Auxiliary, a Den Mother for the Cub Scouts and the HOA Treasurer. She was a devoted and loving mother. She enjoyed painting, bowling, arts and crafts, and geneology. Margaret was of the Catholic faith and attended St. Clement Catholic Church in Plant City, FL.

Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Edward John Sowizdrzal; son, Edward Sowizdrzal; sister, Anne Rocco and brother, George McAuliff. She is survived by her four sons, Paul Sowizdrzal, Peter Sowizdrzal and wife, Jenn, David Sowizdrzal and wife, Wanda, Mark Sowizdrzal; brother, Jim McAuliff; three grandchildren, Alecia Waddingham and husband, Jason, Nicole Crutchfield and husband, Gregory, Melanie Bryan and husband, Zak; and two great grandchildren, Tyler and Avery Crutchfield.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Monday, February 26, 2018 from 11am to 1pm with St. Clement Catholic Church officiating a memorial. It will take place at the clubhouse at The Meadows at CountryWood aka" Country Meadows".
