Robert Milton Stetter

Robert Milton Stetter, age 86, currently of Plant City, FL, and of Morgantown, W. VA, went to be with the Lord on January 4, 2018. Robert was born on April 12, 1931 in Lancaster County, PA and was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Fulton and Carrie Brubaker Stetter. Robert attended Eastern Menonite College, Moody Bible Institute and Goshen College, where he met his wife. He and Lila Rae Thomas were married in 1956 and recently celebrated 61 years of marriage. Robert received a B.S. in elementary education, a B.A. in Bible and ThB, Bachelor of Theology. He and Lila Rae spent 12 years in Algeria where they served as missionaries and most recently retired at the age of 82 as a realtor.

Robert was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Stetter. Robert is survived by his wife Lila Rae; four daughters, Polly Johnson (David), Susan Charles (Dr. Sam), Marie Lynn Hill, and Caroline Neel (Dr. James); 13 grandchildren, Kelsey Charles (Yu Zheung), Jill Charles (Pat), Allison Charles, Phil Charles, Rob Johnson, Cassie Bernhart (Jamison), Chad Johnson, Isaac Hill, Heidi Hill, Ian Hill, Colin Hill, Sophia Hill, and Andrew Neel; one great granddaughter, Olivia Charles; his sister Eva Rudy (Paul); and his sister in law, Corky Stetter.

A service will be held in Morgantown at the CMA for Robert in the Spring.
