OBITUARY AGNES CAPUS (nee Skivington) 1927 - 2011 Passed away suddenly on January 7, 2011, after a brief illness. Beloved wife of Joseph Capus, devoted and loving mother to Andrew (Monica) and Christina (James) and adoring Granny to Christina and Peter on whom she doted. She will also be greatly missed by her brother Fr. John Skivington (Newcastle, U.K.) and her much loved nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters Anne & Chris. She will be fondly remembered by many other dear family members and friends, in Canada, the U.S. and the U.K. Her greatest passion was her family, with theatre coming in a close second. A talented and feisty lady, she will be remembered for her keen wit, her strength of character as well as her wonderful, caring and independent spirit. The funeral mass was held at noon on Saturday, January 15 at St. Edmund of Canterbury Church, 105 Beaconsfield Blvd., Beaconsfield (Quebec), Canada.
MEMORIAL SERVICE
A memorial service for Agnes will be held on Saturday May 7th at 2.30 p.m. in the Erdington Abbey Church, Sutton Road, Erdington, Birmingham B23 6QN. The service will be celebrated by Agnes' brother, Fr John Skivington, and will be followed by light refreshments in the church hall. Agnes' ashes will be interred in her sister Anne's grave in Sutton Coldfield in a private family ceremony on May 9th.
