Unexpectedly, after a few years of declining health, Ali passed away at St. Mary’s Hospital on Oct.1.
Son of the late Ronnie (Duncan Ronald) Macdonald and Colette Sauve. Brother to Judy (Joe Sollazzo), Cathy (Karl Daley) residing in Toronto, and Fran (Nick Baty) living in New Zealand. Survived by his daughter Cara (Guillaume Morneault) and grandson William, and his nieces and nephews - Allessandra, Marisa, Katrina, Joe, and Tom, also his long-time friend Michelle Parente.
Fond memories of growing up on Benny Farm stayed with him throughout the years.
A small family gathering will take place at the Cemetery of St. Margaret of Scotland Parish in Glen Nevis, where he will be buried alongside his parents in November.
