I met Courtney when I became a believer, almost 30 years ago, He is a very special gentleman.
I speak in the present tense as this is not goodbye - but, see you soon. Each day we are 1 day closer to being with our loved ones.
We are sad to be left behind. However, we have a future-it's called eternal life at the feet of Jesus.

Courtney Is beginning a new life.

Rejoice and praise God for our blessings and His promises.

God bless Margaret and the rest of Courtney's family.

We were deeply saddened to learn of the passing of our very dear friend and brother, Courtney Lai Hing. My wife, Pearl, experienced a very strong bond of friendship as a child between her large family (the Philips) and the Lai Hing family, while attending the same SDA church in San Fernando, Trinidad.
Courtney and I were both amateur radio operators (HAMS) in Trinidad. The first transmitter I owned came from Courtney. We later worked together at the same telecommunications company in Trinidad.
Courtney was the lively Master of Ceremonies at our engagement in October 1961. His sister, Jackie, played the piano at our July 1962 wedding. Courtney migrated to Canada and we lost contact with him for many years. About 26 years ago, Courtney heard that we were in Waterloo visiting our daughter and her family. He drove from Montreal to Waterloo to meet us and to see us for the first time in thirty years. We kept it touch from that time. Ours was a beautiful friendship. Our love and prayers go out to his wife, Bonnie, and their family. Blessings also to his siblings and their families. Condolences.

Dear Lai Hing family,

I share in your sadness with deepest sympathy, You have lost the great leader in your family. We have many special memories of Courtney, but there are words that echo from each and everyone who knew this kind, loving, selfless, hardworking, family oriented, pleasant, very wise and patient man. His tireless endeavors of trying to keep his family connected will always be remembered.
My thoughts and prayers are with Bonnie, his children, grandchildren, siblings and their families as you all continue this journey of life without him and his beautiful smile.
