Special appreciation to Michael Bright (Melissa and children) for their friendship and love.
David was a people person who loved life and enjoyed telling stories. His memory was uncanny! He made friends and strangers alike feel special when he would recall specific things about them from past conversations that most would not remember. His passions were dog sled racing, the great outdoors, boating and designing and building his tiny house.
He worked for The News and Chronicle Newspaper in Pointe-Claire, Quebec for 26 years and enjoyed his friends and colleagues. He went on to live in Yellowknife NWT for 10 years and played a significant role as president of the annual sled dog race committee while working for The Yellowknifer newspaper. He always took advantage of and really appreciated all of the outdoor activities the town had to offer in summer and winter!
He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. If love could have saved him, he would have lived forever.
Funeral will be held on July 11th at Collins Clarke MacGillivray White Funeral Home, 222 A 20,
Pointe-Claire, QC H9S 3X6, with Visitation at 1PM and Services at 2PM.
