Dejan Kostic passed away on November 25, 2022, in his 80th year. He is grieved by his wife Ljiljana, his son Kosta (Erica) and three grandsons, daughter Maja (Andrew), as well as his brother Milos (Dusanka).
A graduate of the University of Belgrade’s Faculty of Civil Engineering, Dejan’s work took him across Canada and around the world. Some of his most memorable accomplishments and travels occurred as a result of the many years he spent at Met-Chem Canada, which include the Kudremukh Iron Ore Mine in Bangalore, India.
A satisfying career, combined with his love of travel and history, meant that his children and grandchildren could not mention a geographical location without receiving a lengthy anecdote or reference to a project. This may very well be why none of them followed in his footsteps, career-wise! They did however, take up his love of good food and time spent with family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 1, from 6pm. to 8:30pm, at the Collins Clarke MacGillivray White Funeral Home, 222 Autoroute 20 Pointe-Claire, Québec, H9S 3Y5.
