In the early hours of January 10, 2018, after a brief illness, Dorothy Kennedy, of Pointe Claire, Quebec, passed away in the company of loved ones. Pre-deceased by her husband, William Kennedy, she will be laid to rest at his side. Leaving behind her 3 daughters, Colleen (Mark), Kathy (Wayne) and Diane, who cannot imagine life without the love and guidance of their dear mother. Grandchildren Trevor, Ava, Tyler, Patrick, Derrick and Cierra have lost a beacon of light who was always there to love, encourage and support them. A simple ceremony will commemorate the wonder that was Dorothy - beautiful, courageous, smart, funny, forever patient and always humble. Donations to the S.P.C.A. are welcome in lieu of flowers. Service at Collins Funeral Home, Pointe Claire, Sunday, January 14 at 2:00 p.m.
