1922 - 2014
On Saturday, February 22,2014, in the Acute Care Geriatric Unit of The Royal Victoria Hospital in Montreal. Sally was born on August 27, 1922 in Ville LaSalle, Quebec. One of ten children, Sally was predeceased in 2006 by her dearly beloved husband and partner of 60 years, Leonard Norton. She is survived by two daughters: Sharon Norton Freedland (Charles) and Colleen Norton Raven (Robert), as well as by son Brian Norton (C. Lachance). Sally is also survived by four grandchildren: Andrew (Jessica Gray), Carly, William and Stephanie. She leaves behind two dearly loved sisters, Lucette D'Amour Meunier (Late Marcel) and Lorraine D'Amour, as well as by many nieces and nephews. Dear Mum, we will miss you more than words can express. Special thanks to all those who made Sally's final days easier. Visitation will take place on Wednesday February 26, 2014 from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. Funeral mass will be held on Thursday February 27, 2014 at 10:00 am at St Veronica's Roman Catholic Church, 1300 Carson Avenue, Dorval, QC H9S 1M6.
