My Dad was a complex man.  He was capable of accomplishing great things and frustrated that he did not reach the heights to which he aspired.  I was not as close with him as he or I wanted. The distance between us was one that we sometimes closed but never in a consistent way.  I appreciate what my Dad gave to me and know that some of the person that I am is owed to him.  I am a father to my children and while far from perfect, I work to be the best parent that I can be everyday.  Rest in peace Dad. ~ Jacey

My deepest sympathies to the family on the loss of a dear and generous person. Will be sadly missed.

At difficult times like these, our thoughts go first to providing comfort to the family members of Sol who have lost such a dear and important person in your lives. May you all take solace in knowing that Sol's friends and colleagues in Toastsmasters knew him for the warm, helpful and encouraging person that you all did. My thanks goes to Angie for letting his network of Toastmasters friends know how much of a difference he made to her and to her fellow Toastmasters. What a legacy he left to all who knew him.

I am deeply saddened by the death of Sol, a Mensch and an inspiration for all who were fortunate to know him. I was a Toastmasters member in Beaconsfield when Sol joined our Club and brought his wonderful love for life and joyful spirit. I will never forget him. He encouraged me in my personal journey to understand my Jewish roots and traditions.

We have a lost a member of our Toastmasters family. I wish to express my sincere condolences to Sol's family and friends. May you find comfort and cherish the beautiful memories you all shared together.

It was my pleasure and joy to met Solly in our Toastmasters club meetings and to help him out to achieve his last wish - Advanced Communicator Gold. I remember him waiting for our visits, having the refreshments all prepared, I remember his smile each time we entered his apartment and the hope in his eyes when we were promising to come back for the next meeting. During that time it was him who sometimes encouraged me to keep going in life, to not to give up. His kindness, warm smile, great stories he shared will always keep my heart grateful.

I had the pleasure of meeting Sol through our VSTL Toastmasters'club.  Sol was a gentleman, who always had an encouraging word to share.  He was not only a great inspiration to me, but an amazing story teller.... I could listen to him always, please accept my heartfelt sympathies.
