Jeff took me fishing on Lake Memphremagog, with Dave Jackson.
We laughed at ourselves the whole time,
Dave caught one fish. We enjoyed ourselves....that's what mattered.
Jeff was extremely competent, he and Brendan did work for me and it was always well done.
My heart goes out to his family and friends.  Truly a good man. Taken way too soon from life.

We met 12 years ago and we became fast friends.   You’re a role model for all of us on how to stay calm and stay professional even under the extreme circumstances we faced at work everyday.  
But you were more than just my coworker,  you were a great friend.  I’ll miss our chats and all the great laughs we had.  I admire the love you had for your family, and how proudly you talked when speaking of them.  I’m so glad we got to talk one last time my brother.  After we talked, all the guys asked how you sounded.  I told them, “He’s still the same old Jeff. “. They knew what I meant.  :)
Travel safe on your next journey my friend.  You are surely missed.

Like so many have mentioned above, Jeff was truly a genuine human being, generous beyond words, always offering a helping hand or sharing his wide breadth of knowledge of all things mechanical. I met Jeff through work in Alberta. We quickly became friends as we had common work experiences back in Quebec. I will always cherish Jeff’s fabulous Quebecois Joual caricature as we reminisced growing up anglophones amongst our co-workers from the hinterlands of Quebec. Many a night where spent sprawled out on airport benches awaiting our flights back home to Montreal. I had the fortune of meeting Everitt when Jeff was helping put together a school project with his son. We became even closer friends when I moved to the West Island a few years ago. I will deeply miss my friend and the adventures we had planned. To Jenn, Mady and Everitt, please accept my heartfelt condolences and rest assured that I will be here, if ever in need.

Like so many that have already shared in this space, I find it near impossible to believe that such a ‘lifer’ like Jeff is gone. He had such a profound influence on so many of us that the void feels like some dumb cosmic mistake. He was ‘all in’ for any project, challenge or adventure, and could be counted on for anything at anytime.
He will be sorely missed by so many. 
Thank you Jeff for all the fun and support. Glad to have known you and glad to remember you.

Jeff was the most practical person I have ever met. No job or task was too much for him, he just learned how to take care of it and set about doing just that. He approached life with unrelenting good humour and a positive attitude, while at the same time recognizing the ongoing absurdities and frustrations that go along with our existence on this mortal coil. 

He was, to put it simply and in perhaps outdated language, a solid guy. Very little fuss and muss, someone who you could rely on without question, who was there when needed. He was loved and appreciated and will be missed tremendously. 

He was funny and loved to have fun, a pleasure to be around. Lots of laughs and good stories over the years. 

My sincere condolences to Jen, Madison and Everett.

We started off as neighbors but quickly became friends.  I will miss my conversations with Jeff. He was a wonderful man and truly dedicated to his family. My husband Mike always enjoyed  talking with Jeff about the next project around the yard.  He was an inspiration and he went through more than any person should ever have to. We will miss him. Jeff was my nemesis at the card table, my partner in crime at everything else. So rarely in life do you have a friend who is so aligned  with your sense of humour, your insanities, and forgiving of your faults.  He always gave more than he received.  Since we moved away, every time Erika and I came back to Montreal, Jen and Jeff took care of us, they were our home away from home. Jeff is simply the best person I know.

What an honour to have had such a wonderful friend for so many years and what an extreme privilege to have shared so many wonderful times with you, Jenn , Mady and Everytt. One of the most kind, generous, curious, and hard working people ever,  always there to help a friend and the best 500 partner ever!  You will be remembered always and missed deeply.  ❤️

My deepest condolences to Jenn, Mady, Everytt and his numerous friends and family that will miss“mon amis”(as he would call me). Jeff was a true friend, with a huge heart that was always willing to help in any way that he could…. I will forever cherish the so many wonderful moments that we shared . Jeff was a great man, always friendly and full of warmth. He had a knack for bringing people together. I'll never forget how he always had some home project on the go. He was not only a skilled handyman but also a fantastic cook. I will certainly miss his veggie meals. His cheerfulness and dedication were truly inspiring, right up to the end. Jeff’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. My deepest condolences to all family and friends during this difficult time.

I am truly grateful to have met Jeff, you and your family. I am so happy that our boys met at Windermere park all those years ago.  You were like our second family away from Vancouver. I remember all of your and Jeff’s delicious meals.  Boy could he cook (and you of course)!  Indian seemed to be his specialty.  He even cooked me an elaborate Ramen meal only two months ago. I still cannot believe he is no longer here. He loved to spend time with his kids and work on various projects with them. Lucas was fortunate to be a part of some of them. He had a soft spot for Jeff.  

Jeff was always smiling, laughing and to me one of the most optimistic people I know.  He was still smiling on his last day.  And he fiercely loved his family. 

I am so grateful we were able to arrive in Montreal on his final day, talk with him, hold his hand, hug him and say our goodbyes.  He will always be remembered. He was surrounded by people who love him dearly and I hope he captured all of that love within his heart and soul before his passing.  Goodbye Jeff. We promised we will be there for your family however we can and that’s a promise I will keep forever. We will miss you immensely. Big hugs from us, Jenn and family. If you knew Jeff, you know just how lucky you were to have known such a great man. You could always count on him to have some of the best conversations and give great advice. Kind, generous, loving and wise are just some of his standout qualities.

Dad you were an amazing man who I am beyond proud to be able to call my father. It’s truly a shame that you never finished sharing your seemingly infinite wisdom with me. I still feel like you’re just a phone call away.

He was a brave and courageous man, he endured his sickness and never complained once.  When one treatment wouldn’t work he’d say he’d try something else, so hopeful. He loved his family dearly, we miss our daily phone calls, we still talk to you every day. We will miss him forever.

Jeff, you were a great uncle.   I appreciated you and Jen letting me live with you for a year in pointe claire. Memories I will never forget.  Also fun memories of the camping trip you took me on in New York.

To our dear friends Jenn, Mady and Everytt, we have still not found the words to share how deeply sad we are for your loss,  and we are grieving with you.   We will miss Jeff, he was true and genuine friend, and  we are thankful for all the wonderful times and memories we shared with him, even though we had hoped for more to come...   We will cherish our memories of the fun (and at times hysterical) camping trips, then our gatherings when the kids came along and the late night fun was replace with mellower daytime gatherings, and more recently as the kids aged and no longer wanted to hang out with us, some  slower paced yet always enjoyable evenings.  Through it all we remember Jeff with his big smile and can still hear his contagious laugh.  
Jeff thank you for the many years of friendship, you will be forever missed,  we love you Arlene, Jim, Aliya and A.J.

The last thing Jeff said to me was to keep my beautiful family close. Jeff was the perfect example of a great father, husband and friend. We will miss you forever uncle Jeff but the memories stay with us.

They say when someone you love becomes a memory , that memory becomes a treasure.  What a perfect word to describe you Jeff !!  Just a wonderful person.. kind  , humble, smart,  funny.  An awesome father, husband and friend.  I'm going to miss our talks... you were the strongest bravest person I know.  Never complaining about this dreadful disease you were fighting.  On that last night you could see the pain in your face while you sat there and talked to your friends and family with a smile on your face. Later that afternoon you took off your mask and smiled at Jenn with such love for her in your eyes ( mady saw it and said you looked so cute ) you leaned up to kiss her ... she met you half way.. you kissed her and said I love you.... and then you went to sleep.  I wish I could thank you Jeff for leaving my sister the most precious memory.
