Mrs. Kathleen June (Brassington) Kidd

Kathleen was born on June 12, 1930, in Manchester, England. She lived a life full of grace and compassion. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. Kathleen met the love of her life, Jack (John Albert Kidd), while working together in Manchester. In 1953, with dreams of a new life in Canada, Jack went ahead to establish himself in Montreal. A year later, Kathleen followed, fondly recalling poached salmon as her first meal in their new country. They married that same year in Montreal and soon after moved to Rosemere, where they raised their family and built a happy life together.

Pre-deceased by her devoted husband in 1992, Kathleen's enduring love and dedication to her family were the cornerstones of her life. Kathleen's legacy is carried on by her children Graham (Tracee), Ian (Isobel) and John (Brigitte), her grandchildren Chelsea (Mitch), Jamie, Olivier (Michaela), Nicholas, James and Georgie and great grandson, Lucas. She will be remembered for her sharp wit, large smile, love of food, bridge and sports.

Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life to be held at John and Brigitte’s (514-562-3912) home on Friday (May 31, 2024) between 4:00 and 8:00 PM. Please note that flowers or donations are not expected.

Kathleen will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Her spirit lives on in the hearts of those who loved her.
