Peacefully on Monday November 14, 2011. Beloved mother of the late Kevin ’96 (Marion Krausmann ’11), Kathleen (Daniel Camozzi) and Maureen (Greg O’Connell ’98). Predeceased by her husband Kevin and brothers, Rev.Father Frank Walsh and Gerald Walsh. Cherished grandmother of Kevin Barry (Brenda), Shannon, Caitlin, Eamonn, Gabriel and Amadea and great-grandmother of Patrick, Meaghan and Andrew. Kathleen worked for years as a dedicated teacher and was continually active in her special causes of women’s rights, social justice and inequality. The family is most grateful to Xuan, Jackie, Evelyn and Mona and the entire staff of the 4th floor of Bayview Long Term Care Facility in Pointe-Claire for the loving and generous care given to our mother and grandmother. Visitation will take place on Wednesday November 16 from 7:00 pm to 9:00pm at Collins Clarke MacGillivray White Funeral Home. A funeral at St.John Fisher Church, 120 Summerhill, Pointe-Claire will be held on Thursday November 17 at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, donations to the United Nations High Commission for Refugees (www.unher.org) would be greatly appreciated.
