He was six months old but had so much spirit and personality. A social butterfly by day and night, he always preferred to hold on to his caregivers like a baby koala. He was a lover of books, of cereal, of music and of avocados. His short time with us was a blessing, and he touched many people with his smile and curiosity.
He is a little brother to Everett Kim Bruce, and forever the baby of Jessica Tremblay and Richard Bruce.
He leaves behind numerous family and friends who cared for him immensely, and his light will continue to nourish all our lives.
A celebration of Maverick’s life will take place on July 19th, 2023, from 10AM to 2PM at Collins Clarke Funeral Home in Pointe-Claire. All are welcome.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation in Maverick’s honour can be made through the link below, directly funding the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit that Maverick and we called home.
