Born and raised in Montreal, Quebec, Peter was a man of quiet strength. After beginning his career in the construction industry, he founded and operated his own successful business. He had a deep passion for skiing and golf – two pursuits that brought him joy and tranquility and were lifelong sources of happiness that he shared with friends and family over the years. He loved to travel and was also a very talented painter.
He is remembered by his wife of 12 years, Irene Manouvrier. He also leaves behind his beloved children, Bill, Jamie (Maureen), and Anne-Marie whom he shared with his first wife Angela Timotheatos, who has recently passed away. And his beloved grandchildren, Natasha, Christopher, Ashley, Kaila, Carter, Logan, Chase and Griffin. He is also survived by his brother George and sisters Evangeline and Irene, along with his many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Peter was predeceased by his parents, Mary and Constantine Halikas; and his sister, Electra.
A small private family gathering was held to celebrate Peter’s life. Peter had a vibrant spirit that defied his age, inside he never grew old and that spark will be remembered by all who knew and loved him and will remain in our hearts forever.
