It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Pierre on Friday, September 28, 2018. He died peacefully surrounded by family. Predeceased by Betty, his wife of 58 years and his brother Roger (Louise and Diane). He will be sadly missed by his daughters, Cheryl and Debbie (Dan McGovern), He was a beloved Poppy to Richard, Katrina (Charlie) and Jeffrey. He also leaves behind Marnie, Alec (Barbara), Frank and Shirley Stanfl and family, as well as extended family and countless friends. Special thanks to Dr. Chris Zalai, many doctors, nurses and staff at the Lakeshore General Hospital and Vivalis. Visitation will take place at Collins Clarke MacGillivray White (222, autoroute 20 at Pointe-Claire, QC, H9S 3X6, 514-483-1870) on Sunday, October 7, 2018 from 12:00 - 3:00 p.m. A service will follow in the Chapel of the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Montreal Children's Hospital or Lakeshore General Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
