Robert Nicholson

April 13, 1945 - August 24, 2017

With loving family at his side, Bob passed away at the West Island Palliative Care Residence at the age of 72. Born in Montreal to the late George (milkman) and Isabel (Smith). Cherished husband to Judi (Brophy) for 49 years and wonderful father to Tracie (Kevin McConnell) and Robin (Dennis Williams). Very proud Papa to Drew, Cameron, Taylor and Megan. Bobby was best friend to his brothers David (Eilleen Carroll) and Allan (Carol McAleer). Beloved brother-in-law to Dan & Tricia and Jim & Becky of California. Crazy Uncle Bob to his nieces and nephews and a great friend to all who knew him. To know Bob was to love him. Inordinately curious, master tinkerer, nature lover, and collector of things both big and small. The legion of family & friends who rallied around Bob throughout these past months to provide support are a testament to his character and to his loyalty as a friend. We are grateful to the entire team at the West Island Palliative Care Residence for the exceptional care and compassion shown for Bob and his family. Visitation will be held at Collins Clarke MacGillivray White in Pointe Claire on Sunday, July 30 from 10AM until 1PM.
