Stanley Sarskas

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Stanley Sarskas on October 2, 2021 at the age of 88.

Beloved husband of the late Shirley Howse Sarskas, cherished father of Lisa (Ray), Edward (Kristin), devoted grandfather of Brandon, Sean and Parker. He will also be deeply missed by his sister and brother-in-law, Marianne and Vic Virball as well as other relatives and friends.

The family will receive condolences on Tuesday, October 12th, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. to noon, with a funeral service immediately following in the chapel at the: Collins Clarke MacGillivray White Funeral Home at 222 autoroute 20, Pointe Claire, QC.

Yes, Stan the Man. And a lovely man he was. Fond memories of those workdays at Pratt. A good person all around.

Please accept our sincere condolences to both Lisa and Eddie for the death of your dear and loved father. I remember your dear father as a true mentor and great friend and gifted model plane flyer and technical repair man par excellence. He was great to know and be with. Our thoughts are with Stan's sister Maryanne and her family also, , all our love Barb and John Mackevic.

I had the chance to know Stan at work in Pratt &Whitney Canada. What a fine man, I will always remember his smile and how down to earth he was. He was one of a kind in a friendliest and caring way. We will miss you « Stan the man » and all my condoléances to his family and friends

I have loved Stan and appreciated his leadership in TDR at PWC. He had inspired the work ethic in our department. He also had been very sociable to all. He set the foundation for my first 20 of 30 years at Pratt. My condolences to all. I am saddened at his passing.
