Alfred is survived by his wife ,Esther; his son David, his daughter Diane ; and his son Steven.
Alfred was born on June 16, 1926 in Rochester, NY, to parents Joseph and Isabell. He graduated from Saint Thomas Aquinas High School and Rochester Business Institute. He was in the Navy in WWII in the SeaBees After the end of the war, he and his brother took over their father’s roofing business -Ideal Roofing Company - here he worked until retiring in 1989. Alfred was a great family man and a loving father. He was married to the former Esther Pickett for 74 years and the couple had three children, two grandchildren and four great grandchildren together.
His family and friends will always remember him as a quiet and giving person.
A funeral is scheduled for November 4th, at Kraeer Funeral Home at 200 West Copans Road, Pompano Beach, FL 33064 with a reception to follow at the family home. Donations can be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
