Anna C Nista

A visitation will be held to honor her beautiful life on Thursday, May 5, 2022, at Kraeer Funeral Home, 200 West Copans Road, Pompano Beach, FL 33064. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM on Friday, May 6, 2022, at St. Coleman Catholic Church, 1200 S. Federal Hwy., Pompano Beach, FL 33062. Burial will follow at Kraeer Funeral Home.

Anna was born in Decorata Italy to John and Maria Martucci on July 24, 1933. She married her soulmate, Nunzio Nista on November 7, 1956, in Castelvetere Italy. After getting married, they moved to New Castle Pennsylvania. Together they had two sons who they were extremely proud of, Daniel and Mario. Anna was hard working and dedicated. She worked as a hairdresser for over 40 years where she was loved and admired. She left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Anna lived her life to the fullest enjoying life’s simple pleasures. The one thing in life that she loved and cherished most of all was her family. Cooking for them, laughing together, and spending quality time with them was what brought her the most joy in the world.

Anna is preceded in death by her parents, John and Maria Martucci, and her husband, Nunzio Nista. Anna was a loving mother, wife, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She is survived by her son, Daniel Nista (Beth); son Mario Nista; sister Bonnie Nista; granddaughter Elizabeth Mellott (Duncan); granddaughter Victoria Nista (Matthew); grandson Daniel Nista; great granddaughters Julia and Camille; niece Rose Giunta (Patrick); nephew John Nista (Christina); great nieces Angela Giunta and Lauren Zabko; and great nephews Nicholas Giunta and James Nista. Anna is also survived by cousins and nieces and nephews in Italy.

Anna touched every life she encountered and will be remembered forever. She had the kindest soul and the most gracious heart.
