My father Irving and I knew Artie back in the messenger days  We were competitors -?Copy Clearing House Messenger  but more importantly friends  Every year we would go to the Choice Holiday party. Arthur was the kind of neighbor everyone hopes for but rarely gets. Arthur would always wave, stop to talk and say hello and was a kind, caring, thoughtful man. We will miss Arthur here in the neighborhood. Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Rosenblatt family.

Arthur Rosenblatt was a true gentleman.  His presence in a conversation meant that you were, as always, going to laugh but also that you were going to understand his message.  Often that message was just his warm greetings or feelings for you, but Arthur was also a true defender of righteousness. With his strong but quiet manner Arthur was a master conversationalist. It was pure pleasure to be in his presence. Indeed a gentle man with a strong spirit, a zest for life and always a kind word, Arthur will be missed.
To Jenn Adam and Noah, we can only say that it is in our hearts and memories that those we loved in life live on forever. Peace be with you.

My deepest sympathy and condolences to Jennifer, Adam, & Noah for the loss of a great husband, father and friend.
I've known Arthur for 15 years as a customer of mine and was captivated by his sense of humor and embracing character.  As the years passed he became a great friend and confidant. Always looking out for me, this young business owner and encouraging me to be the best I could be. Arthur would share ideas and business ventures so I could achieve.  He wasn't just a man who loved business but a man who showed a deep passion for family, his family who he loved so much. Yes, Arthur gave me a few pointers being a newly married man on the birds and the bees and that no matter what my wife was always right! Yup, that was Arthur always cracking jokes.  He would always make the dullest day so bright or break the silence in the most awkward situation.  Fast witted and full of great life stories, Arthur was the real deal.  He is a part of our family at Prestige Autowerks and with his passing has deeply impacted us.  Its hard to believe that I will no longer have those great conversations with my great friend.  I will miss him dearly, however I'm grateful to have shared 15 years of his life.  Arthur you will always be remembered and never forgotten.  Your wise words, great teachings and cheerful thoughts will be cherished. Till we meet again my dear friend, Rest in peace.

I worked for Mr.Rosenblatt for many years. He always came in early and 
shared the joke for the day with the employees. I never worked for anyone before
or after quite like him. There was never a dull moment in the office when he was there. When he laughed, which was usually everyday, you could hear it all the way down the corridor. When he held meetings they were quite unorthodox.
He had such a energetic spirit. I will never forget him. My prayers are with you

During Artie and Jennifer's first couple of years of marriage they lived on Grove Isle in Coconut Grove. This is also where they had their wedding. I will never forget my first encounter with Artie. He purchased a St. Tropez, a good size boat, 
and explained his wife loved boating and that he wanted to learn to handle it. That was how our relationship started because I was the dock master for Grove Isle. He just amazed me how quickly he learned at the helm. Within two weeks he had taken the boat to Bimini for a fishing tournament. I asked him if he used 
the loran, however he just headed out on the compass. Whatever he put his mind to accomplish he could achieve. After reading his obituary I was happy to read adventurous because that was him. We had many wonderful days on that boat. He always invited me along. I have such fond memories of him loading the 
boat with plenty of sandwiches to make everyone happy. We loved to watch the dolphins chasing us right out through government cut. I just loved him. God bless!    Jim Mertz, Former Dock Master, Grove Isle

Artie and his beauty of a wife Jennifer, always threw parties at their ski home in Vermont. A favorite was New Years Eve when they actually threw confetti from the second floor. I remember they said they had to vacuum for 3 weeks. Sometimes the parties ended late with plenty of music and jokes. Next morning Artie could be found 7:00 a.m. On a black diamond slope in virgin snow. Who does that? He had the energy of two people in his prime. That is why Jenn said he had to marry someone younger. No one else could keep up. God Bless Him!

We have had many high profiled residents over the years. Including Artie and 
Jennifer's neighbor Oprah Winfrey while they lived here. You know Mr. Rosenblatt was not a celebrity or a dignitary, however he was one of our favorites. When he would pass the Beach Club in the morning he would ask in that Brooklyn accent "How are you today?" You know he was so for real and genuine. He was a breath of fresh air. We need more people like him.

When I was 5 years old I  attended PS 99 in Queens, N.Y., there I met what 
would be my life long friend Artie. He became my best friend and remained so
until his passing. We were inseparable all throughout high school. We would meet at the sand lot after school, for baseball, or football; we were the four aces
Artie, Bobbie, Charlie, and myself. We would plan on our nights events. Usually
homework, then some T.V. We spoke often dailey about what we were having for
lunch, or what we were doing on any given day. On my phone is his name on my 
speed dial and I have to stop myself from pushing it. I find myself thinking of what I want to say to him throughout the day. I miss him so. You will always be in my thoughts.Goodbye my friend.YOUR PAL RONNIE

Uncle Artie had a certain "joie de vivre" that was evident to anyone who knew him.  A great story teller, he could make the most mundane of life's moments seem entertaining.  His ability on the grill was unparalleled, and the his London Broil was always sliced perfectly on the bias.  When going out to dinner with Artie, waiting for a table was never an option.  Reservation or not, if you were with Artie, you were seated next.  Whether you knew him for 5 minutes, or 50 years, Uncle Artie always made you feel as if you were hanging with an old friend, and make sure that everyone around him had a good time.

Artie was my brother-in-law. Even with geographic distance between us Artie always kept in touch with weekly phone calls. Over the years, I have some special memories of our time together. Artie drove Bob and I to the hotel to start our honeymoon after the wedding festivities. In Artie "fashion" and being Bob's big brother, he gave us newlyweds some tips on married life. Artie certainly had the gift of a great sense of humor and we couldn't stop laughing. Artie was our tour guide when we came to visit him in Vermont. I still treasure the golden leaf charm he bought for me to remember to remember our autumn weekend in Vermont. He was such a generous guy. We danced at my children's Bar and Bat Mitzvahs and weddings. He was a great dancer and I loved dancing the Cha-Cha with him. Artie was always there for the good times but he was also supportive during the difficult times, too. I will never forget his caring and reassurance to me. His spirit will live on in the wonderful memories of everyone who knew him and loved him.

     We are all saddened by the news of your loss. The memories we have of your father are those of a genuinely kind and generous man. He never thought twice about taking Adam and Noah and your friends; whomever you had over at the time, to Carrabba's every Friday night which included both Ethan and Adam; amongst others. David spent a Halloween night with him following behind you guys in the golf cart when you were younger and came back with the nicest things to say about him as they got acquainted. As great of a guy as he was it only makes sense that "apples don't fall far from the tree" in that we found you both to be one of the nicest most well mannered and decent friends the boys had, due to your upbringing. 
     Our hearts go out to you and your family now as you go through this  difficult time. You're very fortunate to have had such a special relationship with your Dad; one that will keep wonderful memories that will remain with you forever, as the fond memories that we have of him will as well.
     Please give our condolences to everyone, and know that it was our good fortune to have known such an incredibly great man even for the brief time that it was. May he rest in peace always.

Dear Jennifer,
It was terrible news to hear about Artie's passing.  I have known Artie since I was 16 years old when he first hired me at Choice in 1965 as a messenger..  Artie took me under his wings and taught me what one does not learn in Graduate school.   He was a smart, streetwise business man and a great salesman.  He built Choice thru his endearing personality with customers.  He was always a straight shooter and not always told you what you wanted to hear. He lived life to the fullest, always laughing, even in bad situations. He was a very honest man and in 1983 along with his partner Eddie, sold me the air courier division which I had built over the 19 years I was associated with him.  Artie was a man of his word.  If he committed, he delivered and if he could not, he would face you, tell you why and offer you a plan that in the end worked out well for all.  Since he married you, family life became important to him. Whenever I got together with him he would rave about his love for you and his boys.  You definitely had a spell on him. I am very saddened as I was scheduled to lunch with him the week he passed away.  I had last spoken with Artie on his birthday and we had planned the luncheon. I am truly sorry I did not see him before he departed this world. Artie was a loving, caring man who put his family before himself.  All my love to you and the boys.

May all of you remember all the wonderful memories that you had with Arthur  (husband & dad) May the creator give all of you strength to go through this time of loss. We were all so sorry to hear about Arthur. Thomas and I always remembered talking to Arthur at tennis for the boys and he told us he was so happy he could spend every day with his kids and be so close with them. He said if it was years ago he would just have been working all the time and less involved. Good blessing, means a lot. I know how hard & sad it is for you all. Arthur was my big brother and in growing up I was always Arty's brother.  He taught me how to play baseball, I have the stitches to prove it.  He even showed me how to make an egg cream.  His sense of humor and joke telling was 2nd to none.  I really will miss you brother and I love you. To his sons Lance, Troy, Adam and Noah I will always be there for you.

I always thought only children are adopted, but I was wrong. I was adopted by the Rosenblatt's family 12 years ago, they accepted as a weird member of the family, provided to me financially, took me on expensive trips to Europe and the Caribbean, and taught me how to ski. There are good people on this Earth, but unfortunately they don't get the respect and credit they deserve. We all should look around and say to our selves we are on this planet for the next 50+ years, let's put aside differences, prejudice and help one another. At the end, the reward will be tremendous. I will forever be grateful to Mr. Rosenblatt. God bless his trip to a better world.

I have met thousands of  people of all walks of life but when I think about it Arthur Rosenblatt was in my personal top five as a friend and business associate.He was the type of man who would do anything he could to help his friends and family.
