

Avedis Ugurel, 76, of Boynton Beach passed away on Monday, December 29, 2025 in his residence. Avedis was born on April 17, 1949 in Istanbul, Turkey, the son of Puzant and Hayriye Ugurel. He moved to the United States in 1987. He married his wife Madlen (Kalender) Ugurel in 1987 and they have shared 39 years of marriage. Those years of laughter, happiness, love and dreams brought them much joy. Avedis worked very hard as a maintenance man to provide for his family. In his free time he enjoyed watching football (soccer), cheering for the English team, Manchester United, and his favorite Turkish team, Fenerbahce. He also loved his family and pets very much.
Avedis leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife Madlen Ugurel of Boynton Beach, Florida, daughters Tiffany (Ugurel) Daley and Tatiana (Ugurel) Martelliti Genin and spouses of West Palm Beach, Florida, granddaughter Mia along with his extended families: Torosyan, Kalender and Kayaoglu families. He was preceded in death by his parents, Puzant and Hayriye.
Family will receive guests at Kraeer Forest Lawn on January 5, 2026 beginning at 11:00 am until services at 12:00pm with Father Vartan of St. Mary Armenian Apostolic Orthodox Church officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
