Chuck's family meant the world to him. He shared a lifelong journey with his wife and high school sweetheart, Donna Lee Clevenger. Together, they built a strong and enduring partnership, standing together through life's ups and downs in laughter.
Chuck's children, Ramsey Clevenger (Christina Clevenger), Christopher Clevenger (Christine Clevenger), Sarah Clevenger, and Ryan Clevenger, were a source of great pride and joy in his life. Chuck's dedication as a father left a lasting impact on his children, and they will forever treasure the memories they created together. Chuck embraced the role of grandfather (affectionately known as "Papaw") with warmth and love. His grandchildren (Jaiden Clevenger, Liana Clevenger, Maya Clevenger, and the soon-to-be "baby boy" Clevenger) held a special place in his heart. Chuck enjoyed spending time with them- sharing stories and laughter.
Chuck was preceded in death by his mother, Peggy June Clevenger, and his father, Jimmy Lee Clevenger. He is survived by brothers Jimmy Clevenger, David Clevenger (Sandy Clevenger), and Richard Clevenger (Paula Wagner), and a large extended family who provided support, love, and fond memories throughout his life.
Chuck's passing leaves a void in the lives of his family and all who knew him. He will be remembered as a devoted husband, an active fisherman, an avid motorcyclist, and a cherished family member. Chuck's love and commitment to his family will continue to inspire and guide those who were fortunate to have known him.
A memorial service will be held at Kraeer Funeral Home and Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens on Friday, June 30th, 2023 at 7:00pm, where family and friends will gather to celebrate Chuck's life and the impact he made on those around him.
The family kindly requests that any donations in Chuck’s honor be made to “The Wounded Warrior Project” or “St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.” Both are organizations close to Chuck's heart.
May Chuck find eternal peace and may his memory be a source of comfort and strength for his family and all who loved him.
