She is preceded in death by her husband, Harley L. Davis and her son Rickey Alan Davis. She is survived by her three daughters, Cathleen Gilland, Debbie Lata (son in law Ed) and Pam Vandereedt (Bill). Her grandchildren Shawn & Michael Gilland, Joe Lata and James Vandereedt, along with her great granddaughter, Rylie Gilland. Also her niece Donna Lewis (Allen) and cousin Edna Mae Delgman.
Dodie was a devoted wife and mother. Family was her number one priority. She was an excellent cook and baker. However, her real passion and joy was getting together to play cards.
She was involved in Daughters of the Nile, Gold Coast Coastereetes along with being a Nahum Fan Dancer.
Mom was loved by so many and will be surely missed.
A gathering will be held on February 15, 2025, from 10:30 am to 11:00 am at Kraeer Funeral Home @ Forest Lawn Funeral Home, located at 200 West Copans Road, Pompano Beach, FL 33064.
A Celebration of Life will follow at the same location from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
A reception will follow after the Celebration of Life.
In lieu of flowers the family requests a donation be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children: Shriners Children's.
