Donald F. Nichols

He was born June 17, 1931, in Unicoi, Tennessee. He served in the US Air Force as a Staff Sargent Flight Engineer from 1947 until 1954. Once discharged, he attended East Tennessee State College, where he studied business. Upon leaving school, he made a career in sales and entrepreneurship. He retired from full-time sales in 2000, but continued many projects.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Irene (Arnette) Nichols; his son, Steven Nichols and his wife, Dawn Nichols; his daughter, Rebecca Morales and her husband, Pedro Morales; four grandchildren, Thomas DeGraaf, Heather Slaughter, Nicole Nichols, and Megan DeGraaf; and many nieces and nephews.

A private service will be held Saturday, March 2, 2019.
