Edith Clare Hills

Edith Claire Hills (née Senk). Formerly of Queens, NY, daughter of Harry Huetner Senk and Ann Wallace Senk, died in Pompano Beach, FL on February 18, 2016 at age 88. Edith was born in New York City in 1927, grew up in West Hempstead, NY and the Upper West Side of Manhattan. She attended Julia Richman High School. Predeceased by her husband George Francis Hills of New York, as well her sister Florence Senk Moran of Fort Lee, NJ, and brother Harry Senk, of Northport, NY. Survived by her three children: Peter (and LuAnn) of Discovery Bay, CA; Jack (and Chris) of Toronto, Ontario; and Gail, of Pompano Beach; her first cousin, Irene Pearce of Silver Spring, MD; and her sister-in-law, Ann Senk, of Northport, NY.

Also survived by two grandchildren: Jacqueline Hills Stenson (Kevin) of Folsom, CA and Kevin Hills of Walnut Creek, CA, as well as two great-grandchildren: Ryleigh and Tyler, including many other nephews and nieces in the New York metropolitan and San Francisco areas.

Cremation has already taken place. Prayer service to be held at Kraeer Funeral Home, 200 N Federal Highway, Pompano Beach, FL 33062 on March 4, 2016 at 2 PM Internment at a later date at Bushnell Veterans Military Cemetery,Bushnell Florida.
