

Our beloved Frances Leonardo passed away on July 4th, 2014 at the age of 99 years old. She is survived by her sons, Carlo Leonardo and Louis Leonardo. Frances is one of five sisters, Margaret, Nancy, Mary and Jean. She was married to Joseph Leonardo for 42 years. A loving Grandmother to three grandchildren, Staciann, Michael and Sean. She loved and enjoyed being with them and her four great-grandchildren, Giovanni, Anthony, Olivia and Lilli Rose. Always loved being together with her children. As she used to say "It's great to be with my family". She was loved by so many people, including her nieces and nephews, Dennis, Kathy, Gary, Karen, Lori and Angela. Lived in Brooklyn over 20 years before moving to Florida, where she enjoyed many good times and holidays with her sister-in-law Marg and brother-in-law Joe. Frances loved to travel. She traveled to the Orient and to Europe with family and friends. She also enjoyed the many cruises she took throughout the years. She loved to bowl and was on many bowling leagues, averaging around 140. In her spare time she enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She was a lady with style and class, beautifully dressed with her hair and makeup always done. Frances was a very independent lady and enjoyed her life to the fullest. At the age of 99 years old, she attended her grandson Sean's graduation from the University of Miami. She was so proud and happy to be there. Frances will be very much missed by her family. We are all so proud to be apart of her life and will cherish her forever. Visitation on Monday, July 7th at the funeral home from 4:30-8:30pm.
