Freda C. Wilson, 85, of Pompano Beach, died Tuesday, March 4th, 2014 in her home. Born September 9th, 1928 in West Virginia, she was a daughter of Grover Cleveland Childers and Cordelia Blanch Wise who have preceded her in death.
She is also preceded in death by 4 sisters and 5 brothers, her husband Lester Wilson, 1 daughter Pam Wilson and 1 granddaughter, and her surviving brother Dallas Childers of Orlando.
She was the Assistant Director of the First Baptist Preschool where she lovingly served for 37 years.
Her surviving children are Pat Shell of Deerfield Beach and Janet Sherrow of Oakland Park. She has a total of 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Memorial Service will be held at 3pm Sunday, March 9th, 2014 at First Baptist Church Pompano 138 NE 1st Street, Pompano Beach, FL 33060 with Pastors Ron Harvey and Buddy Spear officiating.
