Gary Antwan Johnson

Gary Antwan Johnson, 38, of Deerfield Beach, passed away on Thursday January 24, 2019. Gary was a devoted husband, father, friend, and fellow rider. He married Jullianna, the love of his life, and together they raised two beautiful children, Gary Jr. and Tatianna. He loved his wife and children more than anything, and cherished every memory.

Gary retired from the United States Navy after serving for 14 years, shortly thereafter beginning his second career as an Occupational Therapist. Gary’s patience and dedication to his patients made him an exceptional therapist.

Gary loved music and riding with his Highway Hitters. He would often post videos of his soulful keyboard playing. His smile was contagious and his positive energy filled our hearts. He will be missed everyday.

Gary was loved by his family, friends, co-workers, and patients. He is survived by his wife of twenty years, Jullianna, his son Gary Jr.; daughter Tatianna; father: Gary R. Johnson; siblings; Rekeysha Johnson-West, Nikesha Thomas, Demetri Johnson; grandparents, Eddie Kilpatrick, Kathelen Kilpatrick; father and mother in law, Valdir and Maria Pinto; brothers and sisters-in-law, Phillip and Tatianna Swenda, James and Danielle Ramirez, Cedric West; aunts and uncles, Robert Sanford, Wilbur Johnson, Earl Johnson III, Calvin (Ann) Johnson, Kenneth Johnson, Jerome Johnson, Gwendolyn Johnson (Percy) Williams, Evelyn Johnson, Elaine Johnson, Yvette (Paul) Johnson, April Kilpatrick-Carter, and eight nieces and nephews, Carden, Morgan, Landon, Amira, Heavon, Darron, Kassia, and Malia.
