

Ingrid Mourice Bachelor, age 67, transitioned peacefully to be with the Lord on August 1, 2025. She is survived by her devoted husband of 39 years, Byron Bachelor; her cherished children, Andrew Bachelor and Christina Bachelor; and her beloved siblings, Gloria Harvey, Monica Hinds, Eucal Tulloch, Sonia Tulloch-Worrell, and Rose Tulloch-Mwinyi; along with 23 treasured nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and RuthTulloch, and her brothers, Derrick Stephens, Neville Stephens, and Leonard Stephens.
Born on February 4, 1958, in Guy’s Hill, St. Catherine, Jamaica, Ingrid attended Wolmer’s Trust High School for Girls in Kingston. After living in Brooklyn, New York, she moved to Toronto, Canada, where she met the love of her life, Byron. The two were married on August 2, 1986, and built a beautiful life together with their children, Andrew and Christina.
Ingrid was an accomplished scholar and professional. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Accounting from York University in Toronto in 1984 and later her Master’s in Accounting from Nova Southeastern University in 1996. She began her career as Controller at Tripp Scott Law Firm in Fort Lauderdale, where she worked for over 12 years. In 1990, she established Bachelor & Associates, a Certified Public Accounting firm that continues to serve over 600 clients.
Beyond her professional success, Ingrid was a woman of faith, service, and generosity. Since 2003, she served as a Director of the RuJohn Foundation, impacting lives in Florida, California, Jamaica, and Canada. Through her work, she built libraries, computer labs, and sports facilities; created school feeding programs; and awarded more than 50 university scholarships. She was deeply involved in church ministry, enjoyed traveling, playing solitaire, and engaging in praise and worship. Her joy came from helping others and mentoring young people. Ingrid’s vibrant spirit, trust worthiness, kindness, and unwavering compassion touched countless lives. Her legacy of love and service will continue to inspire all who knew her.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Redeeming Word Christian Center, followed by a reception. Pastor Edward Brinson will officiate. All are welcome to attend and honor Ingrid’s remarkable life.

A visitation will be held on August 30, 2025, from 9:30 am to 10:00 am at Redeeming Word, located at 2800 Prospect Rd, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309, US. The funeral service will follow at the same location, beginning at 10:00 am.
The committal service will take place on August 30, 2025, at 12:00 pm at Kraeer Funeral Home & Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, situated at 200 W Copans Rd, Pompano Beach, FL 33064, US.
