Jean Kost

Jean Kost, 92, of Lake Worth, Florida, passed away peacefully on December 22, 2025. Born on November 14, 1933, in Brooklyn, New York, she was the beloved daughter of the late Anthony and Josephine Cosenza and cherished sister of the late Lillian Peri and brother of the late Thomas Cosenza.

Jean dedicated her life to her family and friendships. She is survived by her husband of 73 years, Joseph Kost of Lake Worth, Florida; her children, Jeryl Kost of Naples, Florida, and Jonathan and his wife, Dorri Kost, of Aventura, Florida; and her adored grandchildren, Landon and his wife, Christina Kost, and Arley Kost.

She will be remembered for her strong spirit, unwavering loyalty, and devoted friendships. Throughout her health challenges, she faced each battle with remarkable courage and quiet stoicism.

As a grandmother, Jean was a source of love and pride, where her grandchildren brought her great joy. Her legacy of resilience, love, and loyalty will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

A visitation will be held on December 26, 2025, from 10:30 am to 11:00 am at Kraeer Funeral Home @ Forest Lawn Funeral Home, located at 200 West Copans Road, Pompano Beach, FL, 33064.

A prayer service will follow from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at the same location.

The committal service will take place on December 26, 2025, starting at 12:00 pm, also at Kraeer Funeral Home @ Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
