SHUKIS, Joseph R. of Pompano Beach, FL, formerly of San Francisco, CA and Brooklyn, NY passed away on February 14, 2017. Joe was predeceased by his father, Albert. Joe is survived by his loving partner Kate Krebsbach; his mother, Jurate, of San Jose, CA; brother, Kazys, and his wife, Claudia; his nieces, Sarah Roseen and Carolyn Spain; his daughter, Kerri Digirolamo, son, Kenneth S. Werner, and four grandchildren. Born in East New York, Brooklyn in 1947, he attended St. Michael’s Elementary School and Brooklyn Tech High School. In 1977, he moved to San Francisco, the city he loved, and home to his many friends. Donations may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
