

Josephine Valenti of Coconut Creek, Florida passed away on Monday, 12 February 2024 at the age of 82. She was born on 18 February 1941 in New York, New York, where she grew up in a loving and caring family filled with laughter and music.
After graduating from Christopher Columbus High School in the Bronx, she worked for Consolidated Edison in Manhattan, New York until she retired to Florida with her family.
Josephine was an active parishioner at St. Lucy’s Roman Catholic Church in the Bronx for most of her life until she moved to Florida, where she then attended Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Boca Raton. Her devout faith and her unwavering love for her family and friends defined her. Josephine loved animals and their well-being and supported organizations designed for the humane treatment of animals. Her passion for everything “Frank Sinatra” was evident in her music and DVD collection and her readiness to sing a song from the past. Her resiliency, courage, kindness, and her genuine care for others made Josephine a truly remarkable person.
She is preceded in death by her father, Benny Valenti, her mother, Jenny Valenti, her sister, Rosalie Valenti, and her brother James Valenti.
She is survived by her brother, Joseph Valenti, and her nieces and nephews and her grand-nieces and grand-nephews and other loving family members and friends, all of whom adored her.
A visitation for Josephine will be held Monday, February 19, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Kraeer Funeral Home, 200 West Copans Road, Pompano Beach, FL 33064. A catholic vigil service will occur Monday, February 19, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM, 200 West Copans Road, Pompano Beach, FL 33064. A graveside service will occur Monday, February 19, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Our Lady Queen of Heaven, 1500 S. State Rd. 7, N. Lauderdale, FL 33068.
