Campbell, Laura June Shiplett , 55, of Pompano Beach, Florida passed away at Holy Cross Hospital, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on April 12, 2015. Originally from Mentor-on-the-Lake, Ohio, she is survived by her husband of 27 years, Thomas P. Campbell.
Her surviving immediate family are her sisters Maureen Allen, of Painesville, Ohio, and Geraldine Piet, of Mentor, Ohio. She also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins along with a great many friends and acquaintances who found their lives made better just by knowing her. She had the gift of making everyone she met feel like an old friend.
A requiem mass to remember and celebrate her life will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at St. Martin Episcopal Church; 140 SE 28th Ave., Pompano Beach, Florida, 33062 with a reception to follow in the parish hall. Her interment in the columbarium at St. Martin will be scheduled separately at a later date.
