Laura Mucilli

Laura Mucilli entered into the arms of Jesus on August 16, 2023. She was born in Yonkers, New York on December 16, 1935, to the late Dominick and Carmela Viggiani, and raised in the Bronx, New York. She became a resident of Pompano Beach after marrying the love of her life, Dino Mucilli.

Besides her parents, Laura was predeceased by her husband, Dino Mucilli in 2013 and her twin sister Madeline Boccuzzi in 2017, and her brother in law, John Boccuzzi in 2005 and her brother, Frank Viggiani in 2015 and his wife Nancy.

She is survived by her son, Michael Minardi and his wife Shirley and her grandson Michael, Niece Sandra and her husband Rocky S. Progano and her nephew George Boccuzzi and his wife Susanne. Adored childhood Cousins included Camille Cavaluzzi, Bernard Viggiani and Louis Ditrinco. A very close friend, like a daughter, Claudette Pagano and her daughter, Antonia were like family to Laura.

Our family would like to extend our deepest appreciation for their love and generosity over these past years and especially during this difficult time. Laura went to hairdressing school in NYC and worked at Bonwit Teller & Co. under the famous Michel Kazan.

Laura was outgoing, funny, and adventurous. She enjoyed skiing. Italian cooking and loved to dance and sing. She also loved animals and was a woman of great Catholic faith.

Burial for Laura on Saturday, August 19th at 9:30AM here at Forest Lawn North Funeral Home 200 West Copans Road Pompano Beach, Florida 33063.
