

He fought bravely for 4 years and is now with our oldest son, Leo. He went on Angel’s wings to join his Heavenly Father and his struggle is now over and he is at peace.
Leo was born on October 8, 1942 in South Weymouth, MA, to parents Ann and Andrew Sarakinis. Leo attended the University of Miami and MIT in Boston where he graduated with a degree in engineering. He worked for New England Telephone & Telegraph in MA, and transferred to Southern Bell in Florida in 1968 where he managed many projects for 35 years.
He is survived by his loving wife Donna, daughter, Lisa (Eric Bauer) Coleman, daughter, Nicole (Blaine) Manning, Son, James (Dawn) Sarakinis, Son, Joseph (Marina) Sarakinis, Son, Andrew (Eloisa) Sarakinis, and 11 grandchildren: Brianna, Sarah, Andrew, Jack, Joseph, Michael, Hunter, Mia, Alexander, Andrew, and Alliana. Also, his brother Andrew and sister-in-law, Maureen, and many nieces, and nephews.
Leo loved his family and the time he spent with them on and off the fields. He enjoyed golfing, traveling the world, reading, and spending time at the BEACH. Family and friends may gather from 12:00 to 2:00 on Sunday, March 3, 2019 at Kraeer Funeral Home at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 200 W. Copans Road, Pompano Beach, FL 33064.
